Summer Goodbye

a week of despondency and of passion

present in all fullness then gone

slippery silver and glowing, pulsating red

throbbing sadness of stifled love

moon throws transient glances on an empty chair

shining threads dancing through space

you are the flame, i the dwindling candle

you are the moon, i the fluid sea

where to go where to go

i have no control
